The following are some of Mr. Zambri's recent settlements and verdicts:

  • A judgment of $5,000,000 for the familiy of a student who died when he was struck by a drunk driver while attempting to lawfully cross a street in a crosswalk.
  • A $2,750,000 settlement for a woman, a pedestrian, who suffered a degloving injury to her leg when she was struck by a bus while in a crosswalk.
  • A verdict of more than $4,100,000 for several U.S. Army soldiers who were injured when a Greyhound bus crashed in North Carolina. This case was tried in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and was paid in full.
  • A $4,700,000 settlement on behalf of a child who fell off of a playground apparatus and sustained a traumatic brain injury.
  • A $2,000,000 settlement for the surviving family members of a World Trade Center worker who died in the September 11 tragedy in New York. This case was handled on a pro bono basis.
  • A $300,000 settlement on behalf of a man who suffered a chronic back injury, requiring invasive surgery, while working.
  • A nearly $1,000,000 settlement on behalf of a worker who fell from a roof and sustained a traumatic brain injury.
  • A $700,000 settlement on behalf of a man who lost a great deal of his eyesight as a result of a work injury when his head was struck by some cabinetry.
  • A $750,000 settlement on behalf of a man who contracted HIV through a blood transfusion at a hospital.
  • A nearly $1,000,000 settlement on behalf of another man who was transfused with HIV-tainted blood.
  • A nearly $1,000,000 settlement on behalf of a construction worker who suffered an on-the-job injury, requiring a below-the-knee amputation.
  • A $300,000 verdict against the United States Government in a case where a man required a partial leg amputation due to negligent treatment of an infection at a government hospital.
  • A settlement awarding a woman over $400,000 in benefits for a work injury where she injured her back and leg.
  • A settlement awarding another woman nearly $500,000 in total benefits in a case where the client suffered a back injury while on-the-job.
  • Mr. Zambri also fiercely litigated, on a pro bono basis, a case on behalf of a child who desperately needed a heart transplant. The insurance company providing coverage to the child's family refused to authorize the life-saving procedure. Mr. Zambri intervened and the boy received the transplant.
